Bulldogs on the Radio

Tune into every Bulldog men's hockey game in 2012-13 on 94X (94.1/104.3 FM) and football on 1490 The Fan (KQDS-AM). All of those broadcasts can also be heard on the Bulldog Radio network which includes 105.5-FM KBAJ (Grand Rapids, Minn.) and 106.7 FM KAOD (Babbitt, Minn.) Bulldogs on TV

The My 9 Sports Network will be the continue to be the television home for UMD hockey for the third straight season in 2012-13.

The Duluth-based My 9 (KBJR DT 6.2 and KRII DT 11.9) will televise all six UMD regular season home football games and each of the Bulldogs' 19  home men's hockey contests along with with the Bulldog-University of North Dakota women's hockey series on Feb. 22-23. A select number of men's hockey road games are also expected to be added to the 2012-13 My 9 broadcast schedule.

Northland's NewsCenter sports director Tom Hansen and former Bulldog standout forward Judd Medak will serve as the broadcast team for UMD hockey while Hansen and Don Leighton are slated to handle the football announcing duties.

The Bulldog Country Show

Making its debut is 2012-13 is the Bulldog Country Show, a 30-minute weekly program on My9TV in Duluth, featuring Bulldog players, coaches and staff. It is scheduled to air every Friday and/or Saturday night throughout the fall and winters sports season.
