Chase Vogler's exemplary quarterbacking performance last Saturday night has earned him some national attention -- namely a selection by D2Football.com as its Offensive Player of the Week.

The University of Minnesota Duluth senior accounted for a personal-high 396 yards of total offense, 296 of which came through the air, and five touchdowns in UMD's 70-24 win at Concordia University-St. Paul. In addition to completing all but four of his 26 passes and tossing three touchdowns, Vogler also ran for an even 100 yards and two more scores on just 10 carries before being calling it a night late in the third quarter.

Vogler, a fourth-year starter, currently ranks third among all NCAA Division II quarterbacks in pass completions percentage (71.8 percent) and fifth in passing efficiency rating (181.4).
