BULLDOG CAREER
As a Junior [2011] - Built on her reputation as a physical, shut-down defender on the back line by helping UMD rack up six shutouts and limit its opponents to 1.33 goals per game • Put up a goal and an assist for three points over 18 outings as one of nine Bulldogs to suit up in every game -- each as a starter • earned a selection to the 13-member CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-District 7 First Team for carrying a grade point average of 3.93 as a civil engineering major • Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team.
As a Sophomore [2010] - Voted by her Bulldog teammates as the team’s Most Improved Player • Attempted two shots over 16 games played, including four starts.
As a Freshman [2009] - Was restricted to eight appearances in her debut collegiate season • Came away with 115 minutes of collegiate experience and had one shot on goal to show for it.
BEFORE UMD
Is a 2009 graduate of Duluth East High School • Started three years for the Greyhounds • Primarily employed on the backline by Greyhounds’ head coach Kayla Keigly • Helped East to Section 7AA championships in 2006 and again in 2007 • Helped propel the Greyhounds to an appearance in the MSHSL Girl’s Soccer Tournament those same two seasons • also earned four letters as a member of the East alpine ski team • was coached by current Bulldog assistant Kelly Grgas-Wheeler as a member of the Gitchi Gummi Club team in 2008 and 2009.

Born Kristina Kay Mehrman on February 28, 1991 in Duluth, Minn. • daughter of Bob and Betsy Mehrman • has one younger sister (Kara) • member of the National Honor Society and the Key Club during her time at EHS • majoring in civil engineering at UMD.
