AS A BULLDOG:  has become an anchor at shortstop and as a cleanup hitter for the Bulldogs … knocked in a team leading 49 runs (a career best) and 12 home runs (tying a career high from last year) … pounded a team-high 23 RBIs with two outs … was one of the four Bulldogs to step on the field for all 60 games … Attained All-NSIC second team status her sophomore season after compiling a team-leading .396 batting average ... topped UMD in a bevy of other offensive categories as a sophomore including hits (65), runs (44), doubles (14), home runs (12), total bases (117) slugging percentage (.713), on-base percentage (.438) and OPS (1.152) ... was one of five Bulldogs to hit the field on all 50 games one year ago ... collected a career-high four hits on two different occasions last year and turned in a five-RBI performance in UMD's home opener with Minnesota State University-Moorhead on April 6  ... took up a new place of residence in 2011, relocating to short stop after spending the previous spring patrolling the outfield ...  hit .256 during his inaugural season in a Bulldog uniform to go with an on .319 on-base percentage ... placed fourth on the team in slugging percentage (.465) that year and belted a pair of home runs. 

BEFORE UMD: Is a 2009 graduate of Richfield High School ... anchored the Spartan infield for four springs and attained All-Classic Suburban Conference acclaim as a sophomore, junior and senior ... served as team captain during her final year of competition at Richfield High School ... was an All-State honorable mention pick in both 2008 and 2009 ... her assistant coach at Richfield High School, Gretchen (Hall) Gifford, was a standout catcher with the Bulldogs during the mid-1990s ... was also an all-conference performer and three-year letterwinner on the prep volleyball court ... captained the basketball Spartans in 2008-09 -- her third season with the varsity program.
