BULLDOG CAREER 

As a Freshman [2011] - Burst on the scene in her first collegiate campaign, scoring 10 goals to go along with six assists for a team-leading 26 points while starting every game • made her presence felt as an offensive force, cracking the top 10 in the conference in a host of statistical categories including points (6th), goals (5th), assists (6th), shots (3rd), and game-winning goals (2nd) • wasted no time recording her first collegiate points by having a hand (one goal, one assist) in both of UMD’s goals in a 2-2 tie with Northern Michigan during the season-opener Sept. 1 • was held off the score sheet in conseuctive outings just once all year, and recorded at least one point in 12 of 18 contests • rattled off a season-best five-game scoring streak from Oct. 9 - Oct. 29, posting 11 points in helping UMD to a 4-1 record over that stretch • named to the All-NSIC second team and earned a spot on the NCAA’s All-Central Region third team • came away with a trio of three-point outings on the year.

BEFORE UMD

Is a 2011 graduate of Stillwater High School • was recognized by the NSCAA after her senior season as the State Player of the Year • held places on the NSCAA All-Region and All-American teams • earned All-Metro and first team All-State honors for her senior campaign • is both a three-time leading scorer for the Ponies and a three-time All-Conference recipient • was a one year letterwinner on the Stillwater basketball team as a guard • displayed her leg power on the Ponies’ track and field team as both a high and long jumper and earned two letters in her two years on the team • was both a state qualifier and held All-Suburban East honors in 2009 for her performances in the high jump.

Born Maureen Keegan Stormont on June 13, 1993 in Rochester, Minn. • daughter of Thomas and Dorothy Stormont • has both one older brother (Joe) and an older sister (Sheila) • plans on majoring in communication sciences and disorders at UMD.
