Holds the honor of being the first winner of UMD's Outstanding Senior Female Athlete Award, which she collared in 1976-77 ... was a three-sport letterwinner for four seasons at UMD ... named the Bulldogs' Most Valuable Player in both volleyball and track and field as a senior ... made UMD athletic history n 1976 when she became the first female to compete in a national track and field meet (the AIAW Outdoor Championships) ... topped the basketball Bulldogs in rebounding during the 1976-77 season ... remained active in the United States Volleyball Association and Armed Forced volleyball competition following graduation (with a degree in business administration) from UMD in 1977 ...  competed in six USVBA National Tournaments since then (1978-81, 1983 and 1989).
