The first Bulldog to be a four-time Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) track & field champion, including capturing the 100-yard and 220-yard dash titles in his first season.
Qualified for the 1975 and 1976 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field championships.
Won 73 individual or relay events over the course of his storied career and owned 19 school records.
Selected as a three-time team MVP in track & field (1974-76).
On the football field, he was the team’s top kick and punt returner for his first two seasons.
