Lettered three seasons with the Bulldogs, scoring 151 points (84 goals and 67 assists) in just 63 career games ... captained the Bulldogs to Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships in 1956-57 and 1957-58 ... also skated on the 1956-57 MIAC championship club (the Bulldogs were 34-0-0 in league play during his three-year stay) ... earned Minnesota-Duluth's Most Valuable Player Award in 1956-57 after topping the club in scoring for a second straight year ... established a Bulldog record (pre-NCAA Division I era) for goals in a game with six against Gustavus Adolphus College in 1958 ... was an Arrowhead Academic Award honoree at Minnesota-Duluth in 1955-57 and 1957-58 ... graduated from Minnesota-Duluth in 1958 with a B.A. in Business and Economics ... is a diehard Saskatchewan Rough Rider fan (Canadian Football League) and has been a season-ticket holder since 1961.
