Lettered nine times in three different sports -- volleyball (four), basketball (four), and softball (one) -- at UMD ... set a Bulldog single-season basketball mark for free throw accuracy (.956) as a freshman in 1981-82 ... co-captained UMD to the 1985 NSIC volleyball title ... was a part of three Bulldog NSC volleyball championship clubs (1983-85) ... competed for the U.S. in team handball at the 1992 Summer Olympics and the 1989 Pan American Games ... took part in six U.S. Olympic Festivals (1983, 1985, 1987, and 1989-91) ... played for the U.S. national team handball team in 1984 and 1988-92 ... attained her B.S. degree in physical education/health education from UMD in 1986 ... is a Port Wing, Wis., native.
