(1984-88)


Holds the distinction of being the only UMD men's hockey alum to play in more than two Olympics  -- competed for Italy at the 1992, 1994 and 1998 Winter Games ... Certainly saved his best collegiate hockey for last .. Was named a second team All-American while securing a spot on the All-Western Collegiate Hockey Association first team as senior assistant team captain in 1987-88 ... Tied for top scoring honors among WCHA defensemen that season and generated 45 points on 13 goals and 32 assists (all career highs) in 41 games ... Skated a regular shift for the 1983-84 WCHA regular season and playoff champion Bulldogs, who took third at that year's NCAA Frozen Four ... Went on to play professionally in Europe, the West Coast Hockey League and the International Hockey League for 14 years and be part of five championship clubs (three in Italy, one in Germany and one with the West Coast Hockey League's Phoenix Mustangs) ... Also took part in 10 "A" Pool World Championship Tournaments ... Graduated from UMD in 1988 with a B.A. Degree in communication ... Is a native of Kamloops, British Columbia.
