Remains the only Bulldog to ever attain All-American and All-WCHA distinction as a freshman ... was named the WCHA's Rookie of the Yeari n 1969-70 -- a UMD first -- left the Bulldog hockey program sporting the second best points per game average (1.46) in school history ... scored 73 points on 36 goals and 37 assists in just 49 collegiate games ... passed up his final two years of eligibility in 1971 to join the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League ... was drafted by the Blues in the second round (23rd pick overall) of the 1970 NHL draft ... skated for two seasons in the old World Hockey Association with the Phoenix Road Runners and Calgary Cowboys Calgary Cowboys (1974-76) as part of a six-year professional hockey career ... possesses an undergraduate degree in business and administration from UMD (1975) ...  hails from Biggar, Saskatchewan.
