Put an exclamation point on a remarkable playing career in 2007 by landing her second consecutive AVCA Division II National Player of the Year award ... Was the first UMD Division II athlete to be named national player of the year in any sport ... Helped lead UMD to four straight North Central Conference championships, four NCAA II playoff appearances, two NCAA II Elite Eight berths, 54 consecutive top 10 rankings in the AVCA weekly poll, and a 114-16 overall record ... Collared AVCA All-American honors on four occasions (a Bulldog first) and was selected the NCC Player of the Year three times (2005-07) ... Exited the Bulldog program as its all-time leader in both kills (1,845) and attack percentage (.360) ... Made the All-NCC Team four times and was a member the North Central Regional All-Tournament Team in 2006 and 2007, the NCAA Division II Elite Eight All-Tournament Team in 2006 and the AVCA All-North Central Regional Team four straight seasons ... Was chosen the 2008 Honda Collegiate Women Sports Award Division II Athlete of the Year and UMD’s Outstanding Female Senior Athlete for 2007-08 ... Earned a B.S. Degree in accounting and finance from UMD in 2008 and a M.B.A. from North Dakota State University four years later... Is a native of Albany, Minn.
