Pre-Game Tailgating
Parking lots for open three hours prior to kickoff, allowing ample time for fans to enjoy the festive atmosphere with family and friends. Gas grills with a maximum propane cylinder size of 20 pounds and small charcoal grills are allowed on the grounds as well as the consumption of alcoholic beverages by persons of legal drinking age. All applicable state laws, city ordinances, and University policies (no glass bottles), apply and are enforced.
Adjacent to the tailgating locations is a brand new green space. This park-like parcel of land (where Stadium Apartments were once located) is perfect for fans young and old to play catch, run around or enjoy a place to relax prior to entering the stadium.Â
Sustainability Initiatives
The UMD Athletic Department, Facilities Office and the Office of Sustainability have added additional recycling stations both inside and outside the stadium. This is another step toward lowering our greenhouse admissions through improving operations and lowering our carbon footprint on campus.
UMD Alumni Hospitality AreaSponsored by the UMD Alumni Association, this area located in the west end zone is open to all fans. Enjoy a unique view of the game with other Bulldogs fans. Food, soft drink, beer and wine options are available to purchase in this area for your convenience.
VideoboardThe Bulldogs are entering their second year with the Malosky Stadium LED video scoreboard. Fans will continue to see expanded replay and in-game promotions/contests as the fan experience is a number one priority for the Bulldogs.
