This afternoon the University of Minnesota Duluth indoor track and field teams wrapped up their regular season of indoor competition in PR fashion at the University of Minnesota's Snowshoe Open in Minneapolis, Minn.
The men were led by fifth year Owen Dickenson in the men's mile. His PR time of 4:12.93 earned him first place and also ranks him fifth on the Bulldog All-Time list.
Freshman Austin Kehr also claimed first in the men's 600m with a time of 1:23.33. Fellow freshman Billy Auvin went on to snag a runner-up finish in the men's 200m with a time of 22.54, which was also a PR performance.
Competition for the men wrapped up with a runner-up finish in the 4x400m relay. The team of B. Johnson, B. Auvin, A. Kehr, and B. Unger ran a 3:22.22.
On the women's side, both first and second in the 200m were claimed by freshman Hailey Hollar (25.96), and junior Jordan Grell (26.25) respectively.
Senior Savannah Schley also took first place in the women's 800m, clocking a time of 2:11.59.
The Bulldogs will spend the coming week preparing for the NSIC Conference Championships hosted by the University of Minnesota State Mankato on Friday, February 28th and Saturday, March 1st.
