Talk about a breakthrough season -- or at least the start of one.
Rob Bordson is enjoying just that in 2009-10. The 6-2, 195-pound University of Minnesota Duluth forward came into the year having racked up just seven points in 42 career games and going without a goal or an assist during his entire sophomore season. But a robust commitment to better himself in the offseason has produced terrific results this fall, so much so that Bordson finds himself leading the nation in both assists (10) and the Western Collegiate Hockey Association in power play points (10).
