BULLDOG SPOTLIGHT: JUSTIN FONTAINE

Justin Fontaine has accumulated points at a faster pace than any other Western Collegiate Hockey Association combatant over the past three seasons and he's showing no sign of slowing down. Through 21 games this winter, the University of Minnesota Duluth senior right winger's scoring line shows 12 goals (which ties for the team lead) and 16 assists for 28 points. Fontaine, a two-time All-WCHA second team pick who paces the No. 5 Bulldogs in power play goals (six) and shots (78), is also a career-best plus-13 on the season.

All this point producing has meant a steady ascension on the UMD scoring charts for Fontaine. He currently ranks 26th all-time among Bulldogs in scoring with 134 points and is on target to crack the top 15 -- something now other UMD skater has done in 17 years.
