University of Minnesota Duluth women's hockey fans can help a great cause and spread some Thanksgiving spirit while cheering on the Bulldogs when UMD 'Crams the Am' on Saturday, Nov. 28 at AMSOIL Arena. In addition to hosting No. 9 Harvard University, the Bulldogs are partnering with Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank and giving fans a free ticket for the game for donating a nonperishable food item.
TIckets are $1 without a nonperishable food item if purchased at the UMD Athletics ticket office or AMSOIL on game-day. The family-friendly event will also feature post-game interview opportunites for kids following the game in the AMSOIL concourse, and kids will have a chance to ask questions and interview members of the Bulldogs at that time.
All food items collected at the game will be delivered to Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank by the UMD hockey team.
The Bulldogs host the No. 1 Univeristy of Wisconsin this weekend at AMSOIL on Friday and Saturday afternoon. Both contests will get underway at 3:07 p.m.
