The University of Minnesota Duluth's senior forward/midfielder
Skye Finley added a 2017 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Women's All-Central Region Second Team selection to her career highlights, which was announced Tuesday.
Finley led UMD in goals for a second consecutive season as she was named to the All-NSIC team the last two seasons. Her seven goals and 15 points this year were career bests including three game-winners. The Forest Lake, Minn. native gathered the most shots on goal (23) as she directed a UMD offense to the fifth best scoring mark in the conference. For her career, Finley managed 13 goals, six assists for 32 points since arriving on campus as a transfer.
Finley co-captained the club to a 10-5-4 finish and a spot in the NSIC Tournament, where they had their season came to a close. UMD finished with double-digit victories for the 14th time in the program's 24-year history and registered an astonishing 6-3-1 road record for the first time since 2009.
