Women's Basketball's Brooke Olson is the Toyota Student-Athlete of the Month for March. Olson led the Bulldogs to its first NCAA Central Region Championship being named the Most Outstanding Player of the Central Regional. She also led UMD to a National Runner-Up finish being named to the Final Four All-Tournament Team. Olson set a NCAA Division II record for the most points scored in a singular NCAA postseason with 171 points in six games. 

Olson became the school's first Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Division II Player of the Year and named a World Exposure Report (WER) First Team All-American and D2CCA Central Region Player of the Year. Off the court, Olson was named the College Sports Communicators (CSC) DII Academic All-America Player of the Year.
