Softball pitcher Lauren Dixon is the Toyota Student-Athlete of the Month for April. The junior pitcher recorded 12 wins in the pitching circle during the month, including a stretch of seven straight victories. Dixon was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Pitcher of the Week three times during the month and became the first UMD player to be named the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division II Pitcher of the Week in early April.
