Soccer's Jackie Jares is the Toyota Student-Athlete of the Month for October. Jares led the Bulldogs to a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Tournament spot as UMD went 4-1-3 during the month. In seven games, Jares scored five goals, while adding five assists for 14 points during the month. Jares was named the NSIC Offensive Player of the Week on October 23.
