UMD Athletics

- The 100,000 square foot facility opened its doors on December 30th, 2010 as UMD Men's Hockey hosted the University of North Dakota.
- The Bulldogs moved to AMSOIL Arena after previously playing in the DECC Arena.
- The Arena features a $1 million, 8' x 14' matrix Daktronics scoreboard hung above center ice, which provides in-game replays, videos, and graphics in 10-millimeter LED display.
- The Champions Lodge, located on the main level adjacent to one of the college hockey's finest and most spacious press boxes, serves as a gathering space for UMD athletic donors, alumni and supporters. At the other end of the hallway is the Hall of Fame Suite, which holds up to 50 people and contains plaques of the 30-plus Bulldog Men's and Women's hockey alumni and coaches who are members of the UMD Athletic Hall of Fame.
- Above the spacious press box features 15 luxury suites.
- The facility also hosted UMD Volleyball on September 6, 2018 against Bemidji State University. 

MEN'S HOCKEY:
UMD Men's Hockey opened up AMSOIL Arena on December 30, 2010 against the University of North Dakota. Since moving into AMSOIL Arena, the Bulldogs have hosted the Men's Icebreaker Tournament in 2017 and 2021. 

The facility houses each member of the Men's Hockey Staff, along with team equipment, locker room, and player lounge.

WOMEN'S HOCKEY:
UMD Women's Hockey played their first game at AMSOIL Arena on January 21, 2011 against the University of Wisconsin. Since moving into the building, the Bulldog Women have hosted two NCAA Frozen Fours (2012 & 2023) along with the WCHA Final Face-Off in 2012. UMD also hosted the Frozen Four in the DECC Arena in 2003 and 2008.

The facility houses each member of the Women's Hockey Staff, along with team equipment, locker room, and player lounge.
