A total of 20 Bulldog student-athletes have been named to the University of Minnesota Duluth Athletic Academic Support Center Scholar List for maintaining the highest cumulative grade point average during the 2003-04 school year in their respective sports.
Six seniors, four juniors, seven sophomores and three freshmen, all of whom were 2003-04 letterwinners, comprise the Athletic Academic Support Center’s Scholar List which follows:

In addition, the Athletic Academic Support Center, now concluding its 19th year of operation, listed a record 212 student-athletes (out of a group of 425) with grade point averages of 3.00 or better for the fall semester. Of that group, 117 achieved grade point averages of 3.40 or above and 20 individuals finished with a perfect 4.00 GPA. Ths past spring, 191 student athletes eclipsed the 3.00 GPA barrier, including 21 who attained 4.00 marks. In all, UMD student-athletes maintained a average cumulative GPA of 2.90 during the 2003-04 school year. The Bulldog volleyball contingent posted the best overall GPA as a team for the second straight year with a 3.46 figure.
