A select number of University of Minnesota Duluth dormitory rooms for the 2009 Grandma's Marathon weekend (June 19-20) are still available for race participants and fans. Reservations will be taken until 12 p.m. this Friday (June 5).

The rooms, which are located in Burntside Hall, are being offered by the UMD Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. The cost is $190.00 per room for two nights (tax included) and each room includes two single beds, sheets, blankets, pillows, pillow cases, towels, wash cloths, soap, drinking glasses and a small refrigerator. Restroom facilities are communal-style shared bathrooms (separated shower stalls). Laundry facilities are available and parking is provided in the residence parking lots at no charge. It is suggested that you bring a small fan since rooms are not air-conditioned. All facilities at UMD are smoke free.
