The University of Minnesota Duluth dropped a pair against Minnesota State University-Moorhead and No. 22 Northern State University just two weeks ago, but the Bulldogs will look to get back above .500 this weekend as they face off again with the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference North division foes.

UMD (10-10, 7-9 NSIC) got back on the winning track Friday night with a dominant performance by its front court, 84-70 over Augustana, but slipped up Saturday night when Wayne State shot 62.5 percent, including 12-of-18 from three-point range to knock off the Bulldogs 81-69. Senior forward

MSU-Moorhead (12-8, 8-8 NSIC) won two in a row and three overall since tripping up the Bulldogs on Jan. 24, 75-70. The Dragons reversed a UMD halftime lead, shooting nearly 70 percent (16-of-23) in the second half. A pair of senior forwards, Morgan Zabel and Megan Strese dominated inside, combining for 44 points and 14 boards. Once again, Flood led the way, shooting 3-of-5 from beyond the arc for 19 points. Rutten neared a double-double with 15 points and a game-high nine rebounds, including eight on the offensive end. UMD shot 44.3 percent and got just 10 second-chance points.

The Bulldogs are 50-27 in the all-time series with Moorhead.

The Bulldogs and Wolves will tip off the weekend on Friday night at 6:00 p.m., with UMD turning around for an afternoon showdown in Moorhead Saturday at 4:00 p.m.
