A total of 41 University of Minnesota Duluth student-athletes qualified for a spot on the 637-member Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference All-Academic Team for the 2015-16 fall sport season including six Bulldog men's cross country runners on a 47-member NSIC men's cross country All-Academic Team.

Sports included for the fall All-Academic Team are men's and women's cross country, football, soccer, and volleyball. UMD placed 13 football players, 10 women's cross country runners, seven members each from the soccer and volleyball teams and six men's cross country runners. To be eligible for the NSIC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.20 or better, be a member of a varsity traveling team, have reached sophomore academic and athletic standing and completed one full year at his/her institution.
