?The University of Minnesota Duluth could not rebound from a tough loss last time out as Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference North Division rival Minnesota State University-Moorhead knocked the Bulldogs off by a nine-point margin for the second time this season, 68-59 on Friday night in Moorhead.
UMD (11-12, 9-10 NSIC) falls out of the top four in the NSIC North as St. Cloud State University and the University of Minnesota-Crookston each won, while MSU-Moorhead (13-10, 13-6 NSIC) gains a game on Northern State University for the top spot in the division.
HIGHLIGHTS• Senior guard
Jessica Newman went 3-of-5 from outside with a team-high 14 points, tying junior forward
Taylor Meyer for the team lead of six rebounds. Meyer went 5-of-13 from the floor for 13 points.
