The University of Minnesota Duluth announced today that its partnership with Under Armour and Universal Athletic has been extended through 2023. The Baltimore-based global leader in performance footwear, apparel and equipment became the official outfitter of UMD on Aug. 22, 2013.
As part of a five-year extension agreement, Under Armour will continue to provide on-field and training gear for its 16 varsity sports while helping UMD athletics drastically accelerate its uniform replacement schedule. In addition, Under Armour will outfit members of the athletic department including coaches and staff.
The agreement includes marketing assets that will complement Under Armour's brand marketing campaigns through print and venue presence on the UMD campus and at AMSOIL Arena.
