Long-time hockey, football and baseball volunteer Dale "Hoagie" Haagenson, two-time national champion football head coach Bob Nielson, women's hockey career scoring leader Jenny (Schmidgall) Potter and golf All-American Tom Waitrovich made it official this afternoon as they were formally enshrined into the University of Minnesota Duluth Athletic Hall of Fame. The four took part in the 20th annual induction ceremonies at the Holiday Inn and Suite's Lake Superior Ballroom.

With the addition of this quartet, the UMD Athletic Hall of Fame membership now stands at 136.
