A handful of University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs ushered in 2020 by competing in the Minnesota Open on the University of Minnesota campus Saturday.

Three Bulldogs posted Top 7 finishes, including senior Dan Clark, who took fifth in the pole vault (13'-09.25) and freshman Max Baker, who did likewise in the 400-meter dash (53.31). Rookie Jordan Gruenes ran a 2:01.41 to take seventh in the 800-meter run.

UMD will pay a visit to the University of Wisconsin-Superior on Saturday (Jan.18) for the Twin Ports Open.
