The University of Minnesota Duluth finished first as a team and was produced seven indviduals at Saturday's Bemidji State University Open in Bemidji State University.
The Bulldogs compiled a team score of 250 points while Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference rival Minnesota State University-Moorhead (204 pts.) followed by the University of Wisconsin-Superior (118 pts.) in the triangular meet.
UMD received first-place finishes from junior
Cole Lebourgeois in the mile run (4:29.61), freshman
Max Baker in the 400-meter dash (52.85), junior
Noah Torvik in the 600-meter dash (1:25.61), sophomore
Ben Palmquist in the 200-meter dash (23.07), senior
Dan Clark in the pole vault (14'-08"), sophomore
Avery Hunt in the long jump (20'-06"), and sophomore
Zach Skelton in the weight throw (58'-.5").
The Bulldogs will compete in the University of Wisconsin-Stout's Bowlus Invitational next Friday and Saturday (Jan. 31-Feb. 1) in Menomonie, Wis.
