BULLDOGS ANNOUNCE UPDATED ATTENDANCE POLICIES

In compliance with the Executive Order issued by Governor Walz last evening and the associated State of Minnesota Department of Health Guidelines, the University of Minnesota Duluth athletic department announced today that UMD women's hockey games played at AMSOIL Arena will be closed to all spectators; including family and friends of participants and staff, through the end of the 2020 calendar year due to COVID-19.

This will impact the women's hockey home series versus Minnesota on November 27-28 and St. Cloud State on December 4-5. The UMD Ticket Office will contact all women's hockey season ticket holders this week to provide options via the Bulldog Ticket Assurance Plan.

All Bulldog women's hockey games are available to view online via the FloHockey subscription service. In addition, fans can tune into KDAL to listen to the games on November 28 and December 5.

The Bulldogs also debuted a number of fan experience initiatives which include Fan Cutouts presented by Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union. To purchase a Fan Cutout today, click here.  Fans are also encouraged to follow the Bulldog social media channels for more information.

"We know this is disappointing news for many of our great Bulldog fans, as we understand their passion and pride for UMD women's hockey", said Josh Berlo, UMD Athletic Director. "Ultimately, the health and safety of our student-athletes, team staff, great fans of Bulldog Country, campus and community is of utmost importance. Our teams have worked diligently on plans for the safest possible return to competition in line with NCAA, WCHA and MDH guidance and we feel confident in the policies and procedures we have in place. We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as we look forward to when we can ALL cheer on the Bulldogs in person at AMSOIL Arena."

Attendance policies for road games will be at the discretion of the host institution in conjunction with local and state directives.  Fans are encouraged to check with the host institution for any restrictions.
