The University of Minnesota Duluth athletic department kicks-off the "Week of Champions" presented by Northland Subway to honor Bulldog student-athletes.  UMD will release the 2019-20 academic, athletic, and community award winners throughout this week to commemorate the great accomplishments of this past year.  Winners will be announced on www.umdbulldogs.com and Bulldog social media channels (facebook, twitter, instagram) at noon starting tomorrow. 

Today, we begin with a welcome and introduction message from Dr. Gary Holquist (Senior Development Officer - Athletics) as well as a few special congratulatory messages from UMD athletic alumni.




The week will feature Bulldog awards for the E.L. "Duce" Rasmussen scholar student-athlete, the Chancellor's Cup for team academic performance, the Shjon Podein community service award, the Team Impact award for community service, and Outstanding Male and Female Senior student-athletes of the year.
