University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldog student-athletes posted a 3.43 semester GPA this past spring.
Overall, UMD's almost 400 student-athletes -- which includes redshirt freshmen -- collectively posted an all-time high GPA of 3.45 this past fall and followed it up with an impressive 3.43 GPA this spring.
The women's tennis team registered the best overall team GPA at a 3.73 semester, while the top men's program was the men's cross country team with a 3.50 semester GPA.
"Our student-athletes have continued to impress in the CLASSROOM this past year," said Laura Schnell, UMD Athletics Academic Advisor. "I want to congratulate all our graduating senior student-athletes and thank all our coaches, staff, and administrators for all their help in the pursuit of academic excellence for our student-athletes in the classroom."
The below Bulldog athletic programs also set semester high GPA's this past spring.

In addition this past spring, a program-record 69 University of Minnesota Duluth student-athletes qualified for a spot on the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference All-Academic Team. This follows up a fall of a then record 61 NSIC All-Academic Team honorees for the Bulldogs.
Sports included on the spring NSIC All-Academic Team are men's and women's track and field, baseball, softball and tennis.
To be eligible for the NSIC All-Academic Team, members must have a 3.20 cumulative GPA or higher. Additionally, the student-athlete must be a member of a varsity traveling team, have reached sophomore academic and athletic standing and completed one full year at his/her institution.
