UMD Bulldogs "ALLETE" Moments: Competition
Throughout this year, UMD Athletics is partnering with Minnesota Power, ALLETE to highlight the Bulldogs accomplishments in the 3 C's: Classroom, Competition, Community. 
 
Duluth, Minn. – UMD's senior Brooke Olson was named the NSIC North Division Player of the Week for the second time this year. 

Olson led the Bulldogs to another 2-0 weekend, and extended their win streak to 8 games. Olson averaged 18.0 points, 8.5 rebounds 2.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks per game over the weekend. Olson also shot 14-26 (53.8%) from the field over the weekend. Olson had 18 points, 9 rebounds in the Bulldogs win over Southwest Minnesota State and 18 points 8 rebounds in their win over Sioux Falls. 

The women's basketball team will be back in action this weekend as they host Minnesota State Moorhead on Friday at 5:30 PM and Northern State on 3:30 PM on Saturday. Come out and support your Bulldogs!
