The University of Minnesota Duluth women's basketball team looks to host the University of Mary Marauders and the Minot State University Beavers this weekend in their first Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) homestand since the holiday break.

THE SEASON SO FAR

The Bulldogs are currently 8-3 overall with a 5-2 conference record after getting back in the win column with a victory over Winona State before the break. UMD remains at fourth in the conference behind Concordia St. Paul, Northern State, and Mankato.

RANKINGS, RANKINGS, RANKINGS

After falling out of the Top 25, no more NSIC teams stand in the WBCA national rankings. The Bulldogs rank first in the conference for blocks per game and field goal percentage, and rank within the top three in four other statistical categories, including: scoring defense, scoring margin, three point percentage, and win percentage.

SCOUTING REPORT - UMARY

The University of Mary Marauders are 8-6 overall with a 4-2 conference record after their most recent victory over Valley City State. The Bulldogs are 9-9 against the Marauders since 2013, most recently defeating them 72-52 in last season's White Out game.

SCOUTING REPORT - MINOT STATE

The Minot State University Beavers are 4-11 overall with a 1-5 record following their most recent win over South Dakota Mines. The Bulldogs are 16-4 against the Beavers since 2013, most recently defeating them 63-41 in last season's Pink Out game. 

LOOKING AHEAD

Women's basketball heads to St. Cloud, Minn next weekend to take on the St. Cloud State Huskies. The action for the Bulldogs will tip off on Saturday, Jan. 13, at 3:00 PM.
