THE SEASON SO FAR
UMD is coming off a clean weekend sweep, defeating SMSU on Friday and USF on Saturday for Romano Gym's annual Senior Night. The Bulldogs sit tied for fifth in the NSIC, holding onto an overall record of 16-7 and a conference record of 13-6. While they continue to hunt for a first round bye, their current sixth seed will grant them a home game for the first round of the NSIC tournament.
RANKINGS, RANKINGS, RANKINGS
The Bulldogs still remain outside of the WBCA's top 25 rankings, last being ranked in the week of December 12. UMD holds onto the best rated field goal percentage (44.1%) in the conference and remains in the top three for blocks per game (4.1), field goal percentage defense (37.9%), and three point percentage (33.4%).
BULLDOG STARTING FIVE
The veteran presence of the Bulldog starting five (consisting of Ella Gilbertson, Madelyn Granica, Taya Hakamaki, Lexi Karge, and Taytum Rhoades) continues to dominate on the offensive side of the ball. The core group has tallied 1,159 points, 421 rebounds, and 232 assists just this season so far.
