THE SEASON SO FAR
The Bulldogs moved down to seventh place in the NSIC standings following their losses to Minot State and UMary last weekend. UMD now sits at an overall record of 16-9 and a conference record of 13-8 as they look to better their seeding heading into the NSIC posteason tournament.
RANKINGS, RANKINGS, RANKINGS
The Bulldogs remain outside of the most recent WBCA national rankings, with Mankato being the only NSIC representative on the list at No.14. UMD continues to have the highest rated field goal percentage (43.8%) in the conference while also being third in blocks per game (4.3) and free throw percentage (73.5%).
BULLDOG STARTING FIVE
The mix of veteran presence and young athleticism in the Bulldog starting five (consisting of Ella Gilbertson, Madelyn Granica, Myra Moorjani, Lexi Karge, and Taytum Rhoades) continues to put up strong performances on both sides of the ball. The core group has tallied 1,165 points, 550 rebounds, and 243 assists just this season so far.
SCOUTING REPORT - ST. CLOUD STATE
St. Cloud State has moved up to fourth place after their weekend sweep over Southwest Minn. State and Sioux Falls extended their win streak to seven. The Bulldogs are 13-12 against the Huskies since 2013, most recently falling to them 47-64 on the road earlier this season.
