University of Minnesota Duluth graduate women's cross country runner
Shaelyn Hostager finished up her collegiate cross country career Saturday in Kenosha, Wis. at the 2025 NCAA Cross Country Championship on the Wane E. Danehl National Cross Country Course.
Hostager ran to a finish of 86th place, the same finish ironically as
Franny Seidel last season. The Dubuque, Iowa native ran a time of 21:49.9 and worked hard to get to the finish line after dropping a few places in the final split of 4:27.2.
Hostager's time was her third fastest 6k time of the season. She holds the distinction of being just the third individual NCAA Championship qualifier since 2010.
