2012: Last played for the Bulldogs that fall (attended UMD the past two years, however, and graduated this past May with a degree in exercise science)  ... took part in all 12 games and wound up with 24 total tackles ... also had a pair of pass breakups to his credit ... started the year's final two outings  -- the regular season finale with Northern State in Duluth and the opening round NCAA II playoff bout at Missouri Western State -- at left cornerback ... 
2011: Was redshirted as a first-year freshman.
BEFORE UMD: Was the recipient of the Brockmeter Scholarship, which is given to Wausau's top senior football player ... received Wisconsin Football Coaches Association first team all-state honors following his senior year a Wausau West High School ... made the Wisconsin Valley All-Conference first team in 2009 and 2010 as a defensive back and that circuit's second team as a wide receiver in 2010 ... started for two years under head coach Kevin Grundy ... was a state qualifier and three-year letterman in track for the Warriors (sprinter and a jumper).
