AS A BULLDOG: Was a most promising addition to the Bulldog receiving ranks last fall ... took a backseat to only fellow true freshman Zach Zweifel on UMD’s 2011 reception list ... rolled up 35 catches and three touchdowns in 14 outings last fall ... snagged six catches twice (the lone Bulldog to accomplish that feat) in NSIC triumphs over Winona State and Minnesota State-Mankato ... also proved to be a valuable special teams fit with the 2011 Bulldogs -- paced the club in punt returns and brought back the third most kickoffs (nine each) ... fielded a Minnesota Crookston punt and took it 65 yards for a touchdown on Nov. 5.

COLLEGIATE HIGHS: Pass Receptions - 6 vs. Minnesota State-Mankato (11/12/11) and at Winona State (10/8/11). Pass Reception Yards - 45 vs. Minnesota State-Mankato (11/12/11). Pass Reception Touchdowns - 1 (3 Times). Longest Pass Reception - 24 yds. vs. Minnesota Crookston (11/5/11).

BEFORE UMD: Was a 2010 All-Lake Conference and all-area selection, and earned all-state honorable mention honors ... played on two Minnesota State Class AAAAA championship clubs (2008 and 2010) ... was a Paul Cunningham Award (leadership and character) winner, KFAN Leader of the Week and WCCO Player of the Week last fall ... worked out of the running back, wide receiver and cornerback spots during his prep playing days ... has been chosen to play in the 2011 Minnesota High School All-Star game ... lettered two years in basketball and three in football for Head Coach Brad Anderson.
