BULLDOG CAREER

AS A BULLDOG:

2015- Reigned as UMD's leader in appearances (35), innings (197), wins (18), strikeouts (160) earned run average (2.98) and complete games (21) ... came on strong during the stretch run of the season -- won eight of her final 10 decisions of the year ... fanned a Bulldog 2015-high 13 batters while 2-1 road triumph over Bemidji State on April 8 ...  batted .102 (six-for-59).
2014- Pitched just under 63 percent of the team's total innings ... established then career highs for appearances (38), starts (27), complete games (18), wins (19), innings (190 1/3) and strikeouts ( 160) ... landed NSIC Pitcher of the Week honors after holding MSU-Moorhead to no runs in eight innings of work over two games with no walks and 10 strikeouts in a March 11 twinbill ... won six of her final seven decisions of the year ... also contributed to the Bulldog cause offensively -- hit .298 with a pair of home runs in 94 at-bats  ... also compiled a .426 slugging percentage ... 10 of her 17 RBI came with two outs.
2013- Became a fixture in the rotation as the No. 2 hurler, starting 13 games and making 11 other appearances ... went 10-4 with a 2.37 ERA as a UMD rookie … earned her first career win in her first-ever start against Northern State on Feb. 19, punching out seven in five scoreless innings … showed good control on the rubber manufacturing a team-high 2.67 strikeout-to-walks ratio (95 strikeouts/39 walks) … went the distance in nine starts, including four shutouts … threw back-to-back shutout victories down the stretch to assist in securing UMD's  first conference title in a decade … pitched the only save of the year in the second round of the NSIC Tournament versus Augustana … sent back a career-high nine batters on strikes in two occasions.

BEFORE UMD: Is a 2012 graduate of Maple Grove High School ... was  a member of the Crimson  starting lineup for four years  ... paced the Crimson in pitching wins, strikeouts, and earn run average as well as batting average and on-base percentage last season en route to attaining All-Northwest Suburban Conference acclaim for the second straight time ... served as the Maple Grove High School team captain in 2011 and 2012.

PERSONAL: Born Cayli Anne Sadler on June 30, 1994 in Kankakee, Ill. … is the daughter of Steve and Marci Sadler … has one younger sister (Sammi, a 2016 UMD freshman teammate) … is majoring in organizational management at UMD.
