Favorite Track Meet: Indoor Conference because of the energizing atmosphere.
Why I Chose UMD: Beautiful city, endless outdoor explorations, awesome running program and good academics.

Favorite College Course: Strength and Conditioning class with Chuck
What Most People Don't Know About Me: I was home educated from 2
nd grade through senior year.
Most Memorable UMD Athletic Moment: Finishing 3
rd in the nation with my cross-country team freshman year and having a mud fight to celebrate! Also winning the 1500 meters at Nationals this past year was a pretty special moment.
Pre-Meet Ritual or Superstition: I always wear my gold stud earings and pray before every race.
Favorite Professional Athlete: Jenny Simpson

High School Attended: Ran for Cannon Falls HS
Years Lettered/Competed with Varsity: 8
th grade year through senior year (5 years)
High School Highlights: Was 3x State Champion (cross country, 800 and 2 mile), hold school records in 800, 4x800, mile and 2 mile, was a huddle leader for FCA at Cannon Falls High School, was in 4-H for 11 years, was active in church and helped out with Sunday school, launched a small business with my three brothers called Lone Oak Farm Grass-fed Beef.
