Biography
BULLDOG CAREER:
2017-18 (Junior) Assumed the starting role as one of the starting forwards and started in all 27 games • tallied 741 minutes, the fourth most on the team, averaging 27.4 minutes a game • finished with 8.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game • reached double figures 12 times including a season high 19 points in the win over Minnesota State • pulled down a season high six rebounds against Winona State • a 36.4 percent shooter on the season with a deadly 37.2 percent touch from three-point range • named to the NSIC All-Academic team.
2016-17 (Sophomore) Started 11 games and saw action off the bench in 13 others, averaging just under 24 minutes a game • racked up at least 10 points six times and compiled a collegiate-high 20 points in the NSIC quarterfinal match vs. Wayne State on Feb. 25 • went 8-of-11 in the playoff game hitting four from behind the arc • filled the stat sheet at St. Cloud State tallying 12 points, a block, three assists and a personal best five steals against the Huskies on Nov. 26 • matched her best rebounding performance with seven versus Wayne State and U-Mary • was one of eight Bulldogs named to the NSIC All-Academic Team.
2015-16 (Freshman) Played in 22 games including a pair of starts in her debut go-around with the Bulldogs • scored at least two baskets in every game during her 2015-16 season • cracked double digits scoring for the first time in her second collegiate game with 10 points vs. Northern Michigan on Nov. 21 • notched her collegiate-high with 19 points against Minnesota State on Jan. 3 and again in the regular season finale at Minot State on Feb. 20 • grabbed a season-best seven rebounds against Minnesota Crookston on Dec. 4 and Concordia-St. Paul on Jan. 2 • dropped four assists to go with three blocks against Bemidji State on Dec. 5 • finished fourth on the team in scoring at 8.3 points per game while leading the Bulldogs with a 46.7 percent shooting mark from three-point range.
BEFORE UMD: A 2015 graduate of Eden Prairie High School • started four years for the Eagles • received All-Lake Conference honors in her junior season, leading Eden Prairie to the Class 4A State Tournament and a third place finish • received AAAA All-State and a second all-conference selection as a senior • 2015 Miss Minnesota Basketball Candidate • also participated in track & field for two seasons running mid-distance.
PERSONAL: Born Emma Lynn Boehm in St. Louis Park, Minn. • daughter of Eva and John Boehm • has one sister, Abigail • participated in swing dance club, Spanish club, and Eden Prairie Big Sister program while in high school • going to double major in teaching physical science-chemistry emphasis and biochemistry at UMD.
