BULLDOG CAREER:
2015-16 (Junior) Appeared in 26 games including 25 starts • netted 36 consecutive free throws from Dec. 4 to Feb. 6, a span of 17 games • scored a collegiate career high with 28 points against Minot State on Jan. 22 • grabbed a career-high seven rebounds in her season debut at Michigan Tech on Nov. 14 • scored 22 points against St. Cloud State on Nov. 28 • hit a season-high five three-pointers and scored 17 points at Upper Iowa on Feb. 5 • finished second on the team averaging 9.3 points per game on the season.
2014-15 (Sophomore) Appeared in 26 games off the bench for UMD, averaging 12.3 minutes per game • scored 4.4 points and 1.5 rebounds per game, both career-highs • netted a career-high 14 points vs. Minot State on Feb. 21 in the regular season finale • scored 13 points against U-Mary a day earlier on Feb. 20 • scored 12 points in just 17 minutes against Bemidji State on Dec. 6.
2013-14 (Freshman): Appeared in 24 games off the bench for the Bulldogs • posted her best games down the stretch, emerging as the scorer that the Bulldogs saw coming out of high school • scored a collegiate career-high 12 points in the NSIC/U.S. Bank Tournament opener at Concordia-St. Paul on Feb. 26 • hauled in a season-high six rebounds against Bemidji State on Feb. 21 • ended the regular season with nine points against Minnesota-Crookston on Feb. 22 • notched 10 points at MSU-Moorhead on Feb. 8 • averaged 3.5 points per game while shooting 35.5 percent, including 36.7 percent from beyond the arc.
BEFORE UMD: A 2013 graduate from Grand Rapids High School • four-year starter for coach Dave LaCoe and the Thunderhawks • team captain in her senior season • top scorer in each of her last three seasons • team’s leading blocker in her senior season • tops in assists and steals in her junior and senior seasons • a five-year letter-winner in tennis while posting the best record on the team.
PERSONAL: Born Kenzie Teresa Kane in Bemidji, Minn. • daughter of Rich and Teresa Kane • has two siblings, Joshua and Taylor • a member of Captains Council at Grand Rapids • enjoys beach volleyball, the beach, and the outdoors • grandfather Robert Tok played hockey at UMD • aunt Jackie Bischoff played basketball and tennis for the Bulldogs • uncle Grant Bischoff played hockey for the University of Minnesota • plans to major in Marketing with a Communications minor at UMD.
