AS BULLDOG:
2016: Was an instant source of defensive secondary assistance during his first year in the Bulldog program ... joined current sophomore punter/placekicker Cameron Hausman and running back Jaleen Jones as the only three true freshmen to accrue playing time for the Bulldogs ... ranked eighth on the club with 31 total tackles ... had one of UMD's nine interceptions -- a second quarter pick against Mary on Nov. 5 that he brought back 58 yards before fumbling on the one-yard line and into the end zone (where teammate Zach Bassuener recovered for a Bulldog touchdown) ... that interception return was the longest by a Bulldog in three years ... wore No. 19.
BEFORE UMD: Two-year starter (defensive back/running back) at North St. Paul High School ... paced all Minnesota preps in interceptions in 2015 with 12 ... captained the Polars to the Minnesota Section 4 AAAAA  title as a senior and along the way earned a host of citations -- Associated Press All-State (first team), Minnesota Vikings High School All-State, All-USA Minnesota Football first team, North Star News All-State and All-Metro East Conference ... was also a 2015 Minnesota Mr. Football finalist ... played under head coach Eric Longtin and was a Polar teammate of 2016 UMD recruit Isaiah Koran ... will begin his third season with the North High School track team this spring ... qualified for the 2015 Minnesota State High School Meet in the 4 x 200 relay.
