AS A BULLDOG: 
2017: Teamed with John Larson to form one of the NSIC more formidable one-two quarterback punches ... cracked the starting lineup on five occasions and took snaps in eight games ... completed 90 of 194 passes for 1,259 yards and eight touchdowns on the season ... was picked off just twice all year (both at Wayne State) ... added another 173 yards on the ground (on 65 attempts) ... made his first collegiate road start certainly one to remember -- rolled up 422 passing yards-- the third highest single-game total in team history -- and one touchdown while connecting on 27 of 44 throws in a 34-31 double overtime victory over Wayne State ... bypassed the final five assignments of the regular season because of a lower body injury .. was a NSIC All-Academic Team qualifier.
2016: Occupied the No. 3 quarterback slot on UMD's depth charts from the opening weekend on ... lined up under center for three games and went 6-for-11 for 33 yards in the air in addition to adding another 36 yards on three carries ... basically all his offensive damage came at the expense of Mary on Nov. 5 -- threw for 33 yards while completing three of five passes ... also rushed twice for 38 yards in that 75-14 throttling of the visiting Marauders.
2015: Was red-shirted as a first-year freshman.
BEFORE UMD: Three-year starter at Eau Claire Memorial High School ... exited the Old Abe program owning all-time records for passing yards, completions and touchdown passes ... wound up connecting on 415 of 705 tosses for 4,962 yards and 46 touchdowns while racking up 5,628 yards of total offense during his prep career ... was an All-Big Rivers honoree in 2014 and the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram's Northwest Wisconsin Player of the Year ... served as team captain as a junior and senior ... played for head coach Paul Kling ... also lettered four times in basketball (point guard) and three times in baseball (pitcher) at Eau Claire Memorial H.S.
PERSONAL: Is the son of Dan and Jill Everhart ... is majoring in mechanical engineering at UMD.
