AS A BULLDOG:
2018: Did double duty as the team's primary punter and kick off man for the second year in a row ... equaled a career best for punting average (39.5 yards per punt) ... was called into punt a personal-high nine times in the opening round NCAA II playoff bout with Texas A&M-Commerce ... made good on two of his five field goal tries, the last of withc was a 45-yarder (his longest as a Bulldog) against Bemidji State at Malosky Stadium.
2017: Posted a  36.2 yards per punt average as a sophomore .... finished with 65 punts (the most by a Bulldog since 1998 and four shy of the program single-season record) and 19 of those went inside the opponent's 20-yard line and four sailed 50 yards or more ... averaged 55.2 yards on 67 kick offs ... connected on three of four passes for 73 yards out of punt formation ... that included a 42-yard completion in a 41-0 throttling of host Northern State on Oct. 14.
2016: Took over as UMD's No. 1 punter during preseason camp and eventually lent his assistance in the placekicking department ... was one of just three, true freshmen to use up a year of eligibility ... punted 26 times for a 39.5 yard average with four landing inside the opposition's 20-yard line ... five of his punts eclipsed the 50-yard mark, including  career-high 63-yarder against Bemidji State ... made good on five of nine field goal tries and was 27-for-31 on extra point attempts ... generated a personal-best 11 points (two field goals and five PAT kicks) in UMD's 41-38 defeat of then-No. 16 Augustana in Duluth ... did not kick off once during the entire season.
BEFORE UMD: Four-year starting placekicker and punter at New Richmond High School ... booted his way to spots on the All-State, All-Region and All-Middle Border Conference teams in 2015 ...  played under head coach Keith Badger ... spent four springs in a starting role with the baseball Tigers (pitcher/infielder) ... also competed in basketball (forward) as a prep.
PERSONAL: Is the son of Dave and Yvette Hausman ... is majoring in marketing/graphic design at UMD.
