Influences On My Athletic Career: My high school coach, Dave Wicker, and my parents helped foster my love of running and competition.
My Favorite College Courses: Physics I and II. They taught me how to study.
What Most People Don't Know About Me: I played clarinet and saxophone for eight years.
Most Memorable UMD Athletic Moment: My most memorable UMD athletic moment is the first time I ran the steeplechase. I did not fall, but I got pretty wet.
Pre-meet Superstition: I have to wear my blue-fast shirt.
Favorite Professional Athlete: Galen Rupp.
