BEFORE UMD: Is a 2017 graduate of Blaine High School ... started three seasons (pitcher and shortstop) for the Bengals and head coach Don Bross ... capped off her prep career in 2017 with her third selection to the All-Northwest Suburban Conference Team after finishing 12-4 in the circle and mashing .373 at the plate ... also was an All-Section honoree her senior season ... was voted the Rookie of the Year by her peers in 2014 after hitting .343 at the dish ... had a strong sophomore season hitting above .400 ... bestowed Defensive Player of the Year honors in her final go-around.

PERSONAL: Born Malorie Ann Stone in Blaine, Minn. ... is the daughter of Michael and Tracie Stone ... enjoys watching hockey and football, cooking and baking ... is majoring in early childhood studies and psychology at UMD.
